About event
We invite you to the discussion Evening with Attitude, this time on a topic from the world of Christianity "A year without Francis, a year with Leo", which will take place on April 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Teatro Colorato in Bratislava.
One year after the inauguration of the new pope, there is a time when we naturally think about his first steps and the direction the church will take. Our special guest will be priest, theologian and columnist Juraj Vittek, who will bring a deeper view of the topic to the discussion.
In the second part of the evening, we will present the new book Virtues and Vices, in which the journalist Jana Zlatohlávková talks to fifteen extraordinary people about how to believe that God loves us even when we are imperfect. The book will be presented by the author herself with several of her interviewees. You will be able to purchase it on the spot for a special discounted price.
In the debate, we will seek, among other things, answers to the following questions:
- What legacy was left to the church and the world by the deceased pope?
- Does the new pope follow his predecessor or has he chosen his own path?
- Where Leo XIV. will the church move in the coming years?
The following will discuss:
- Imrich Gazda, deputy editor-in-chief of Postoj daily;
- Juraj Vittek, Catholic priest.
The editor of the World of Christianity, Pavol Hudák, will supplement the discussion with moderator inputs.
The ticket must be purchased in advance via: https://www.inviton.eu/e-21025/vecer-s-postojom-rok-bez-frantiska-rok-s-levom
After the discussion there will be space for informal conversations and meetings with you. Don't miss the pleasant atmosphere of the live meeting!
We look forward to seeing you.
