The inspiration for Alphaville was a poetic collection of pain Paul Eluard for Godard, who writes: "Time says words like love." Alphaville is the capital of the Galaxy, from which everything is managed by the Alpha 60 supercomputer. Love is forbidden here, along with all the emotions and overlaps of exact thinking. All this in the "higher interest" - the time was reduced to the present, the connection with the past was destroyed by Professor Vonbraun. The secret agent of Lemmy Caution comes to Alphaville to bring the firefighter fire of knowledge of the past and poetry that would destroy this technocratic survival. The main character of Lemmy Caution was portrayed by Eddie Constantine, who was the star of the French B -gangster films at that time. French new wave (1959 - 1963). Approximately 160 directors debuted during this period. A group of creators (originally film critics) associated around the magazine Cahiers du Cinéma-Jean-Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol, Jacques Rivette, Eric Rohmer and François Truffaut were the most significant to the forefront.
