The year of women in Mīna Art Space continues with the exhibition of Great City Patrícia Koyšová. We cordially invite you to the opening, which will take place
Artist Patrícia Koyšová, one of the most personal painters of Slovak art, is dedicated to the gestic abstract painting combined with the Airbrush technique. It thus combines two principles, rules and technology. The way of her painting is based on the processes, which shifts its painting from modernist abstraction in favor of movement, illusive, but also spiritual qualities.
Characteristics mainly uses the crossing of lines on the basis of several spatial plans, the last layer is pointed with a gesture, or even a pastor spot. At the same time, the author refers to the city of Košice as a large, but also for her specific city in the east of Slovakia. They flow in waves, whirlpools, churches outside their visual field. It is also the author's Zen conversation with the size and infinity of the space that surrounds us. It enters it with its internal dynamics. Her painting is in some way poetic but not literary, replacing the writing of the poem by painting, which also encourages such reading of her paintings as a non -verbal language.
Patrícia Koyšová (1985, Nové Zámky). In 2016 she completed her doctoral studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava U prof. Ivan Csudai, in which she also graduated from the previous study at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (2005 - 2011) by the Zoom diploma thesis, for which she won the Rector's Award in the Free Art category.
has dozens of author and collective exhibitions, such as an exhibition with Matúš Lelovský in Industra in Brno, in the Gallery of Acia in Bratislava, in the Gallery of Plusminusnula, Žilina, Space Gallery, Bratislava, in the City Gallery, Rimavská Sobota, Valašský Mesiří. From the collective exhibitions we present the exhibition: Symphony for five senses in the Central Slovak Gallery in Banská Bystrica, lonely in the Bratislava City Gallery, diversity necessary in the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava, Le Salona d´A car 2021, Paris, Organic Development, Dot Gallery, Bratislava, The Human Face - Freedom or Death Montez, Frankfurt am Main, When She Draws, Museum of Vojtech Löffler, Košice, 9000km, Japanese Inspirations in Slovak Arts, Ján Koniar Trnava Gallery. Košice. She is the author of the monograph Marie Bartuszová and co -editor of the author's catalog for her exhibition in Tate Modern in London (2022).
