About event
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the release of the first part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy - The Fellowship of the Ring. Let's all enjoy a day in which we pay tribute to this work together.

1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. - Old Bral - The "Saruman" years in Tolkien's life
The story of Tolkien's life in his youth, when he needed to earn extra money and when he, like Saruman (and later Gandalf) was nimbling in endless resources information to help create a magnificent work of his time.
15:00 – 16:00 – Martin Šust (Argo) – About the publishing plans of the Argo publishing house
What is it like to care for the work of such a great, what else does Argo have in store for us? Martin Šust will talk and answer.
16:45 - 17:30 - Tomáš "Krauset" Krause - "Together we reflected the long loss" or sadness in Tolkien's work.
Lecture of a long-time editor Krauset's MovieZone will focus on a specific type of longing that characterizes the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, and also on what film means director Peter Jackson uses in his film adaptation

How did Tolkien manage to create such a complex and multi-layered work from the fairy tales he told his children? Come and listen to Anica Matuszková's talk.
16:00 - 16:45 - Nerdopolis - For four years now, we have been worried about where Gondor was...
Or, not seriously, about LoTR. Libo-Wan and Honzík have been creating Nerdopolis for 4 years. Come reminisce about the best Middle-earth memes they'll find and, on their 4th birthday, ask them anything in an open debate.
5.30pm – 6.45pm – There and Back Again – The Best (and the most bizarre) Lord of the Rings fan theories
Did Radagast save all of Middle-earth? Is Tom Bombadil really Morgoth? Was the whole expedition to Mordor just Frodo's hallucination? The Lord of the Rings has no shortage of fan theories, more or less confirmed. The best and funniest guys will discuss, but they'll be very happy if you join in and bring others you've heard of to the discussion.
19:00 – 20:00 – Horn of Gondor with Šimon Pesta and Borka Belfín
Screening of the extended version of the Horn of Gondor with previously unreleased footage. An alternate ending will also be shown! After the screening, the film's director and screenwriter Šimon Pešta and Borek Belfín, who played the main role, will stay for the discussion.
