Requiem D Mol (KV626) is the last work of W. A. Mozart. It is a memorial for solos, choir and orchestra. It was founded in 1791 and is one of the most cult composer's works. Mozarta was overcome by an infectious disease in his composition - after his death he was completed by his pupil, composer F. X. Süssmayr. The work was created on the order of Count Franz von Wallsegg, a rich nobleman who ordered him for a memorial worship to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of his young wife Anna.
Around the emergence of Requiem, a mysterious story was created that Mozart got an order to compose at night from a mysterious messenger that did not tell the customer's identity. The composer allegedly believed that he was writing Requiem to his own funeral. The authorship of this narrative is attributed to Mozart's widow Constanze. These claims are now reliably refuted by experts, but this does not lose anything about the monumental beauty of one of the most self -sugest works of the history of classical music. Opera
