About event
Friends,
we invite you to this year's first OUTDOOR ecstatic dance. We will dance at the great place Gauč in Stromovka, and the popular DJ Petr Toman from the Orlický Ecstatic project will lead us through a musical set.
Petr is a DJ and a guide for body and soul. He has been creating musical stories since 1998, and for him every set is a journey, an adventure through rhythm, vibration and emotion. In 2022 he discovered the philosophy of Ecstatic Dance and it has been making a lot of sense to him ever since. Music is not just for listening, it is a portal. It takes us deep, opens the heart, dissolves old patterns and connects us with who we really are.
He lovingly creates a musical environment where you can let go - into movement, into yourself, into freedom. She believes in the power of sound, the wisdom of the body and that dance heals. Together with his partner Lucía, he forms Orlický Ecstatic – a project that connects music, dance and community into one living, breathing whole. They travel all over the Czech Republic and open spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with others, with their truth.
Ecstatic dance is a great opportunity to experience yourself directly, which is why we do not use any drugs or alcohol here. It's a way to relax, turn off your mind and tune in to your heart. Dance is based on intuitive and free movement, without the need for technique or imitating others. At the same time, it is an ideal opportunity to step out of the comfort zone and open up.
