VENTOLIN + SUNNBRELLA @ Trnko / Bratislava

Electronic producer Ventolin returns with the album All the best. It is the most diverse and sophisticated recording of musician and academic David Doubek to date, which ranges from psychedelic acid techno to jungle, disco, indie-pop to hip-hop. For the first time in his discography, he invited another singer to the album - rapper MC Gey.

All the best is a collection of songs written and recorded by Ventolin in 2024. They are united by their search for joy in music and writing - despite the social-civilizational circumstances and their own fears and anxieties. layering. I'm still based on the analog sound of synthesizers, because I feel best in that dissonance, but I also used a lot of digital instruments. The album also has the most guitars of all my recordings, and at the same time I sing on it more than ever," says Ventolin. In his work, you can hear exactly the references to the best that was created in Britain on the shoegaze music scene at the turn of the eighties and nineties.
