VER TERRAE v Kaštanu /křest alba/

Ver Terrae was established at the beginning of 2023. It focuses on folk songs of various countries and cultures; The repertoire includes songs of the Balkan, Roma, but also Tatar, Catalan or Sephard. Despite different languages, less or more understandable in folk songs there are something common to all beings. Personal processing reflects the background in classical music, love for folklore, but also courage for new and distinctive song processing, in which a sophisticated vocal or instrumental polyphony plays an important role. The tool base consists of violin, viola, guitar and double bass, but in some songs you can hear the trombone, Greek Bouzouki or Pontic lyre.

In folk songs, eternal themes of love and grief, wildness and joy and fear pulsate, so they are comprehensible despite more or less known languages. But with a particularly interesting story we sing in the author's translation into Czech.
