☛ In some places we pushed them out completely. At the same time, in moments of leisure and fatigue, we take refuge in their shadow. Bold above ground, strong below. Source of life-giving force and oxygen. We have sinned against them many times, but they remain. They care about their friends and relationships. Trees. ☚
𓂀 A seemingly static object firmly rooted in the ground becomes in Věra Ondrašíková's new choreography "Witness" a dancer's partner, but also his synonym. Real trees transferred to the stage lose their natural environment and acquire completely new characteristics. They are as flexible as the dancers' bodies, vulnerable but firm and magical in every moment. ✦ ˖ ˚ ˚ ✧ ˚
