About event
A radical and funny film about the possibilities of public life in Prague by one of the most interesting contemporary performance artists. 🏙️
TICKETS: https://goout.net/cs/verejne-prospesne-prace/szsltky/
Cities are flooded with visual and sonic smog. Housing is becoming an unaffordable commodity, an investment for the richest. The public space of the capital suddenly does not serve its population, but tourism, cars and big capital. How to reclaim the city?
Examples of the answers are represented by a picture of Vladimír Turner, an artist who actively intervenes in public space. The film follows artistic events and performances in Prague, which symbolically transform the surroundings and allow people to re-appropriate the space. At the same time, these projects can also serve as inspiration for people who do not consider themselves to be artists. Dynamic shots and editing are coordinated with the rhythm of popular music and Slovak rap. The synergy of image and sound strengthens the tone of the film, which is defined against the existing system.
💡 A minimalist bar (beer, lemonade and snacks) is available directly in the cinema. There are also toilets (at the café of the Ethnographic Museum) and blankets, in case you get cold in the evening.
