As part of our open #PUBLISHER VISIT Saturday, we are holding an open stage in the evening.
RÜHMCHEN offers authors the opportunity to present themselves and their text and has often been the beginning of a Periplaneta book... Simply register by email ([email protected]), write to us what you want to do (+ reading sample), wait for our positive feedback - and come on time at the start of the event at 7:30 p.m. in the Periplaneta Literaturcafé. We allocate up to 6 performance slots for the evening.
Frequently asked questions:
What can I present? Anything you wrote yourself that has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This can be a short story, poetry, slam poetry, stand up or even a manifesto. (Please no unedited excerpts from manuscripts or serialized stories)
How long is my speaking time? 7 minutes.
I don't have any text, I just want to listen? Yes, very much, artists need attention. Rühmchen is completely public.
I am a musician and would like to take part, is that possible? Yes, you can also sing. However, only to a limited extent, because Rühmchen is intended to be a literary stage. Important: No covers, only your own compositions, only soloists and duos - and you are not a GEMA member.
Can I come over spontaneously and perform something? A clear YES. If there's still room, maybe. But it's always better to inquire beforehand.
From Thursday to Saturday, our publishing office, which is also a literary café, is open to our fans and those who want to become fans from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. We are available to answer any questions before and after each evening event (starts at 7:30 p.m.).
