About event
Some injuries are a prerequisite for change and healing. Others are destructive and become permanent trauma. This was learned by patients of the closed stations for venereal diseases in the GDR, including in the Berlin-Buch Clinic. Political control, patriarchal repression and sexualized violence merged - those affected wore mental injuries and social stigma for decades.
