About event

🎨 We invite you to the opening ceremony of the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize 2024, which will take place on November 7, 2024 at 6 p.m.

The exhibition returns to the Moravian Gallery after three years and will present the work of this year's laureates: Oskar Helcel, Judita Levitnerová and No Fun collective. 📽️🧵🎮

✨ Oskar Helcel impresses with his performative video essays that focus on the topic of architecture and gentrification in relation to late capitalism.
✨ Judita Levitnerová connects tradition with modern issues of ecology and textile creation, thereby exploring "women's work".
✨ The No Fun collective disrupts video game stereotypes and creates space for new, queer perspectives.

At the exhibition you will see not only the works of these artists, but also selected artifacts from the rich collections of the Moravian Gallery, set in a unique curatorial-architectural concept in cooperation with Ruina Office. 🏗️

🎉 The foreign guest of the exhibition is the artist and activist Selma Selman, whose works deal with issues of the Roma community, the status of women and education. Her works draw you into deep personal and social themes. 🌍💡

🎟️ Admission to the opening is voluntary. Come celebrate contemporary art with us and discover new perspectives on the world! 💬👁️‍🗨️ We look forward to seeing you! ꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤꕤ
