The Považ Art Gallery in Žilina and the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava invite you to the opening:
DADAMAINO
author's exhibition
Dadamaino belongs to the most prominent figures of Italian art of the second half of the 20th century. She came to art after studying medicine and through the Azimuth and ZERO groups she established contacts with artists such as Lucio Fontana, Piero Manzoni and Yves Klein, which deepened her interest in the relationship between work and space.
Her work focuses on the exploration of form, emptiness and perception - from early experiments through optical structures to later drawings of signs and symbols resembling ideograms.
The exhibition is among the most important events of the 19th year of the Italian festival in Slovakia Dolce Vita.

Opening: Thursday, 28/05/2026 at 17.00
Považská art gallery in Žilina, 1st floor
The opening will also include a concert by the string quintet AYSO Young Soloists at 18.00 in the exhibition space on the 2nd floor.
