About event
We cordially invite you to open a new exhibition
Dušan Mravec
The country inside us
Exhibition Curator: Mira Sikorová-Putišová
Graphic design: Marek Mati
Place of procedure: Považská Gallery of Art in Žilina, exhibition space for 1st floor, Sála and B
Opens: June 19 at 17.00
The work of the author is distinguished in a significant innovative way with still life and its proper visual associations. In a similar way, the author approaches photorealism and hyperrealism, which had its distinctive forms at the time of its occurrence in the history of our art. In the case of this artist's works, it is also possible to talk about the re -accountalization of these tendencies. The author naturally draws on them, many times they are the base of his work, but it brings a significant element of subjectivity, which is not very compatible with the expression of these tendencies in their pure form.
We look forward to you!
