About event
We would like to cordially invite you to the opening of Anna Stibůrková's Ester.
Not only an exhibition awaits us, but above all an evening full of music and poetry.
The following will play their songs:
Kluk z Holdingu
Awful Arthur
and Adriena Rollerová
And they will delight you with their poetry:
Xerodoth Sigmius
Struno Lam
Ester Anna Stibůrková
and Michaela Šedinová
And what pictures can you actually look forward to it?
This series of paintings explores the boundary between the human and non-human worlds.
The motifs of plants, sun and light are not depicted as a mere part of reality, but as beings with their own expression and inner life. The faces that appear in flowers or celestial bodies are not portraits of specific people, but rather imprints of emotions — uncertainty and quiet tension.
The whole series thus creates a subtle but unsettling shift: the world around us comes to life, while the person becomes quieter and more distant.
The images do not tell a clear story, but offer the viewer the possibility to enter a changing world, where meanings are born from feeling rather than from unequivocal announcement.
Entrance fee: voluntary proposed NOK 150 as a contribution to the (s)new Žižkov Paliárka
