Four days and Motol University Hospital invite you
to the opening of the exhibition Hynek Skoták: Lighthouse

➞ Where: University Hospital in Motole, V Úvalu 84, Prague 5
(in front of the headquarters building opposite the subway entrance)
➤ Hynek Skoták: Lighthouse
The lighthouse is a landmark to point out places where there is a hidden danger and thus prevent accidents. Traditionally, it takes the form of a tall tower usually equipped with a lighting device to further increase its effectiveness and thereby strengthen its ability to warn and provide protection. Although it is a building associated with ship navigation since ancient times, its meaning has always been so strong that it has become a symbol.
It doesn't take much imagination to realize that, like a sailor on the open sea, he himself is on a life journey that is not only full of challenges, but mainly uncertainties. The lighthouse then represents safety, hope and the direction he is currently looking for. In fact, it can be faith, love or simply a goal that gives a person meaning and leads him on.
It is no coincidence that such a lighthouse is located in the hospital environment. A not very valued but all the more reliable material, the blue color of water and hope are prescribed in its nature, and the fact that anyone can enter it in order to get out of the pressure of everyday life and perhaps even find their inner light has its value at every moment .
