About event
We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition // not to have cold hands // by Kamila Brůčková! Subsequently, she tried stone sculpture at the same school, but the interplay of coincidences and efforts introduced her to Brno. At first she worked in a stationery shop, where she collected the first materials for a comic situational series. She then studied at Favu (Atelier Painting 2), where she completed the bachelor's degree.
Her work is straddled between descriptive comic book drawing and painting to abstraction.
In comic book creation through digital drawing emphasizes the atmosphere and description of the environment in which the characters are located. It uses light stylization of the whole, expression in expressions. The work -named project is nice not to have cold hands when you want to have a warm lasting since about 2016, when it began to collect and then draw tragicomic messages and the situations of which they witnessed. The style has changed several times over the years, so the best pieces have already seen the third and last processing. He is currently working on the completion of the series.
The exhibition will be presented by Tomáš Prokůpek.
Come, we will look forward!
