🥂 We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition Maria Bartuszová – Being nature, which will take place on June 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Mirbach Palace of the GMB.

The exhibition develops the theme of man's relationship with nature through a holistic approach. She explores abstract, geometric and biomorphic shapes, while also reflecting on the themes of ecology and feminism. Nature was an essential part of the author's creative thinking; the idea of ​​the world as an infinite space, a universe that manifests itself creatively.

Maria Bartuszová (1936 – 1996) from the beginning of her sculptural work dealt with natural phenomena and cycles, such as rain, wind, and later melting snow. She portrayed their changing and temporary nature, movement, temporality, rhythm and power, which she captured plastically in a stiff, solid shape and mass in the shape of raindrops, grains or eggs...
