Event by: Tri steny
Location: Dolný Val 33, Dolný Val 33, Žilina
About event
Do not be a unique exhibition of established Spanish artist Salvaja Selva, who will present a series of works created directly in the gallery called Notes from Žilina, the opening will take place on August 29, 20125 in the new Gallery Gallery at Dolny Val 33, 010 01, Žilina.
Introducing an exhibition entitled Notes from Žilina by Spanish artist Salvaja Selva-named Jorge mertauño, who creates works in the style of abstract post-graphite, where it reflects the perception of the Slovak Republic, influenced by new culture and unknown country in a series created directly in the gallery three walls in Žilina. From his experience with experimental creation, primarily a spray technique that drives its creativity, he wants to tell how he perceives the experiences and impressions of staying and the explosion of the characteristics of the Slovak nation. This collection will be directly incorporated and adapted to the gallery space and will become a visual response to the local country, in the form of abstract painting. In closer views of the images in them, we find the rhythm of spray moves, the use of natural materials, a combination of chromatic color harmony as internal reflections inspired by the environment that will surround the art and dynamic lines of lines through their layering. In his work he strives to find a balance between structures, background and color. The link between work and the environment, whether by urban or nature, present time or history leaves a visual experience resonating with the artist's imagination. We believe that the exhibition will bring an unusual view of contemporary Spanish art to the Slovak audience and enrich the home art scene with new inspiration.
We cordially invite everyone and look forward to your participation. ✨️
The exhibition is supported by the Art Support Fund, the Spanish Embassy in Slovakia and the City of Žilina
