About event
Violence concerns us!
In November we commemorate the Day of Violence against Women and on this occasion we are honored to lend the Dining Room as an exhibition space to the talented photographer @barapodola.
The photo exhibition about violence against women, but also against men, does not show violence explicitly.
Just the opposite.
Through stylized photos of CIS actresses and actors / among them e.g. Jana Kovalčíková, Ivana Kuxová, Táňa Pauhofová or Roman Poláčik / tries to capture the emotional strength required by the victims' daily struggle for their freedom and inner peace.
Come to meet the author in person at the opening and take a look at this difficult topic.
See you at the opening on Thursday, 13 November 2025 at 18:00. Entry is free.
And if physical or psychological violence is a reality for you or someone close to you, do not hesitate to contact the free helpline 0800 212 212.
