About event
We cordially invite you to the Turčian Gallery. On one day and unusually on Tuesday 27. LANČARIČOVÁ-Utopia
(in cooperation with the Turčian Cultural Center in Martin and the Turčian Gallery in Martin)
We start at 17:00 in the Turčian Gallery in Martin. City X. focuses on the reflection of public space through the artistic reinterpretation of abandoned objects that carry artistic, design or historical value: old lighting, urban flower pots or sculpture fragments ... These once functional elements that have lost their place for aesthetic, ideological or practical reasons. Warehouse shelves between forgetting and new existence. The authors Radovan Čerevka, Matej Gavula, Patrik Kovačovský and Marcin Berdyszak examine the possibilities of meaning or aesthetic resustitation of the found objects through temporary artistic installations and record the silent traces of the transformations of our environment.
Exhibition Statue in the city of X. - I want to hear the dust falls is supported from the public sources of the art support fund. Mitášová prepared for the Slovak National Gallery, while focusing on several selected chapters from Dedek's work. Visitors will be able to see the three -dimensional models of his architectures by Benjamín Brádňanský, as well as interactive folding models that will enable visitors to actively get to know Grandpaid work.
Self -Governing Region. The central motive of her work is the column as a basic building element, a skeleton of industrial architecture. Through her photographs, the author points out the fact that the constellation that the photographer captures is a mixture of four -dimensional space, the quantity of time and the flow of light. This transforms the existence of objects and entities into a photographic record.
The exhibition Ema Lančaričová - Utopia takes place in the Summer Photo Fest 2025 and is supported from the public sources of the Art Support Fund.
