About event
We invite you to the opening of two
winter exhibitions at Rozkvet Gallery
19.12. 2024 | Thursday | at 7:00 p.m.
* DEEP IN BETWEEN | authorship: Jonáš Glozik, Viktória Slašťanová, Júlia Ľachová, Andrea Selecká, Dominik Janovec | curator: Petra Hyblerová
* IN TIME | author: Alexandra Pradidová | curator: Michaela Šuranská
Rozkvet Gallery | Upper 36 | I. floor, right, Banská Bystrica
__
A pair of exhibitions - IN TIME and V HŁBKE NA POMEDZÍ - presents the work of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica.
Deep in between
A group of male and female artists maneuvers together on the edge reaching the limits of the human body. Individually experiencing individual works of various media (sculptures, videos, installations) initiates the perception of the physical and emotional or energetic plane of the organism. They thus emphasize the body as a personal space, the emotional center of gravity and the boundary that it creates with its existence.
In Time
Under the name "In Time" we can imagine an experience, its preservation in memory and recall in the form of an image. Alexandra Pradidová's painting work during her university studies is characterized by aspects of figuration, introspection and a mystical atmosphere. The works presented in this exhibition refer to moments of her personal history. Pradidová moves here in the experimental limits of concrete representation and gestural abstraction.
We look forward to your visit.
The gallery's exhibition program was supported by the Art Support Fund from public sources.
Thank you.
