⚪ Vernisáž výstavy Grey Gold: Dotyk a slávnostné otvorenie Ex Librisu

📣 Already in December, we will open the new exhibition Gray Gold: Touch and the new bookstore Ex Libris in Mirbach Palace!

⚪ The international exhibition Gray Gold: Touch tries to contribute to the discussion about the position of the female artist, it has the ambition to address the connections of age, gender and creativity, as well as the effort to make visible the late work of female artists of the post-war generations.

⚪ The exhibition is a continuation of the original projects Gray Gold: Czech and Slovak artists 65+ (2014) and Gray Gold: At your fingertips (2017). The concept of these projects has long been linked by the effort to contribute to the discussion about the position of female artists in the wider Central European area, the ambition to thematize the connections of age, gender and creativity, and last but not least, the effort to make visible the late work of Slovak, Czech, German and Austrian female artists of the post-war generations. These are generations of female authors who anticipated, formed and shaped the conditions for the gradual professionalization and emancipation of women's artistic creation and helped to integrate it into Czech-Slovak and Central European art history.
