About event
In 2019, Stefan Milkov's first exhibition took place at the Václav Špála Gallery, titled Restless Times.
The author will now follow up this exhibition with a new project in which he reflects on the changes in the contemporary world and his own inner experience. According to his perception, times have not calmed down since then - on the contrary.
The exhibition will offer a glimpse into the various states of spirit and mind that the author captures through painting. Although his main discipline is sculpture, it is painting that allows him greater freedom, relaxation and space for personal expression.
It often arises at night - in moments when sleep does not arrive and silence and restlessness come at the same time. The paintings balance between joy and a subtle shade of melancholy, between the inner world and the outer.
"I live to create and I create to live."
Come take a peek into a world where restlessness is transformed into color, energy and freedom.
Curator: Reny Muzik
