Icons Mortue/Dead icons presents a retrospective view of the work of a mining-Bystrice painter Eva Török. Her works are a visual diary of a personal transformation in which topics such as death, faith, ego, family or identity overlap. Each image is a record reflecting different stages of her life and artistic development. Her paintings act as mirrors - they become questions and answers at the same time. The author works most often with oil painting on canvas and hardboard, while the distinctive color enhances the emotional testimony and strength of the legacy. It plays thematically with a figure, a portrait, a still life, and the open -air, and it translates its deep inner world into all themes. Her work is honest, personal and courageous, able to transform individual experience into visual language. The work thus acquires not only art but also existential dimension. Ľudovít Hološka. In 2019 she won the title Mgr. Art. And in 2022 she became the finalist of the 14th year of the VUB Painting competition. He lives and works in the villages of Hodruša-Hámre and Nenince, where he also tutors. In addition to intensive artistic activity, she is a mother and partner. Her personal life and spiritual way are an integral part of her artistic expression.
