Glass, material that attracts the attention of craftsmen and artists for millennia for millennia, continues to fascinate with its unique properties and a wide range of use. The traveling exhibition of Glass Without Borders will present works by thirteen artists and designers who, in the summer from 15 to 28.7. 2024 participated in the Lower Silesian Workshops and Symposium of Art Glass and the design of the e-Glass Festival 2024 in the Poręba Sklarská. Since 2008, the E-Glass Festival has been organizing the Center for Art Culture in Wroclav in cooperation with the Academy of Arts and Design in Wroclav.
The essential point of the E-Glass festival is the exchange of experience between established artists, glassmakers, craftsmen and art students. The clashes of various perspectives that stem from generational and cultural differences, individual artistic visions and various professional backgrounds create a dynamic space for more large -scale research.
Selected artists form during the symposium in glassworks in the Czech Republic and Poland and this 17th year is a selection of artists by the breakdown by the organizers of Czech and Polish creators to include artists from Ukraine, USA and Canada and South Korea. ; Mercedes Nowak (PL)
