We cordially invite you to the opening of the HUMOR BEZ LEGRACE exhibition, where you can view the results of more than a year of research by our historian Jana Černá focused on anti-Semitic cartoons in the Czechoslovak and Soviet press between 1948 and 1989.
📒 Humorous magazines such as are Porcupine, Horned Horned, Crocodile and others, often served as a tool to spread anti-Semitic stereotypes and prejudices. Together we will uncover what forms of anti-Semitism are hidden in these drawings.
🕍 The exhibition has a strong topical impact and its preparation would not have been possible without the valuable help of the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic, whose representatives will attend the opening.
