About event
Jaroslav S V O B O D A - academic painter
Jaroslav Svoboda chose a special shortcut, when the strokes of his brush perfectly mastered the art of capturing the important and leaving out the unimportant. Yes, knowing which line or area needs to be placed on the paper is no less important than knowing what needs to be hidden.
The shapes of the body themselves are a highly artistic matter and Jaroslav Svoboda has the gift of seeing them differently than we, who today we look at his drawings. See them your way. It has its own handwriting, it is not an epigon, and therefore presents us with the unseen. His drawings and graphics, as well as abstract watercolors, testify to the fact that Jaroslav Svoboda is a sensitive artist, so we have something to admire. That's what exhibitions are for. And Jaroslav's is valuable because it allows us to look at a woman in her fragile and sensual beauty with his unusual view.

There are things that should remain free in the dimension of indeterminacy. Sometimes words are too binding and it is not for nothing that Jaroslav Svoboda expresses everything through images, simple visual traces.
A higher dose of sensitivity is needed for this action also because it is even more delicate than it seems. Jaroslav works with an extremely fragile element: young girls, often victims of a judgmental and objectified vision of their own body. However, his art is further away from this concept than ever. His work representing female beauty certainly begins with the body, but is not limited to its external appearance.
With natural simplicity and sincere empathy, Jaroslav establishes a deep connection with the girl he draws. And if I'm sure of something, it's that many girls have had a positive impact on their outlook on life. The body is treated with kindness, studied with curiosity, and synthesized to celebrate the soul that it inhabits. And in doing so, there is that sense of harmony, that "something" that is reflected in a woman's curves just as sunlight touches earthly things and can only be admired through them.
