Vernisáž výstavy Jozef Srna / Aby bolo viac svetla

The Auction Society SOGA cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibition of the self -portraits of Jozef Srna st. (1930-1992). The collection captures the last decade of the author's life (1982-1992), which overlaps with one of the key turns of our modern history - the fall of the totalitarian regime and the advent of democracy. The set of works acts not only as a historical comment, but also as a personal testimony - about aging, introspection and consciousness of its own ending. The deer paintings are still freezing today and prove that good art does not lose its meaning, but it gets new reading layers. The opening will also be accompanied by the introduction of the same publication.
