About event
Michaela Havlíková - Material - NY
The exhibition presents drawings created as an intuitive study of life in its various forms. The author focuses on animals, insects, humans and plants - especially roots - and monitors the transformations that take place both on the body and mental plane. The resulting composition acts as a stream of thoughts and shapes, where each motif turns into others as if the whole image was breathing. The topics of transformation and internal movement also refer to the literary work of Franz Kafka, which became a personal inspiration for the author. Art techniques. Along with others, the Kamishibai project (Japanese paper theater) is implemented, for which it draws illustrations and participates in events for schools and kindergartens in and its surroundings.
