About event
The exhibition MojeTvojeNaše3 will present a dialogue of painting, graphics and photography in a family context.
Galeria VD Laboratory of contemporary art will present the exhibition MojeTvojeNaše3, which connects three art disciplines – painting, graphics and photography – through the work of one family.
The central idea of the exhibition is the conviction that the common life of artists significantly affects not only their daily functioning, but also the artistic work itself. Long-term coexistence, shared experiences, common joys and challenging life situations are naturally reflected in individual artistic programs, which, despite different media, maintain mutual connections. The exhibition is a continuation of the authors' previous projects dedicated to the themes of family and home, in which other family members were also involved in the past. The number three in the title of the exhibition symbolically refers to a return to this concept and at the same time to the representation of three authors - three members of the family.
In addition to the painter Milan Hnat and the graphic artist Eva Hnatová, their daughter Dorota Hnatová, who works in photography, will also be presented at the exhibition. Her work is primarily focused on photographing four-legged family "companions" and brings a sensitive view of human-animal relationships. The exhibition will offer a unique opportunity to observe how different artistic approaches and media meet within one family, which is united by a common background, creative experience and mutual inspiration. Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the current work of all three authors in the intimate space of the gallery.
The MojeTvojeNaše3 exhibition will be open to the public from July 9, 2026 to August 7, 2026. The opening will take place on July 9, 2026 at 6 p.m. in the premises of the gallery VD Laboratory of contemporary art.
