The Slovak Design Center cordially invites you to the long-awaited National Design Award 2024 exhibition – a unique showcase of projects that have resonated over the past two years on the Slovak communication design scene! 555 works, which is the highest number in history. The international jury, composed of leading experts in the field of communication design – Juraj Blaško (SK), Zuzana Husárová (SK), Róbert Slovák (SK), Vasyl Kosiv (UA), Filip Blažek (CZ), Justyna Kucharczyk (PL) and Eduardo Barrera Arambarri (MX) - from them she selected 139 projects that you will see at the exhibition. Of these, 37 works were nominated for an award.
The exhibition runs from October 17 to December 15, 2024, every Tuesday to Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the attic of the Hurban barracks at Kollárov námestí 10 in Bratislava. Be at the first moments of this anticipated cultural event and come to the opening, which will take place on October 16, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
During the duration of the exhibition, you can look forward to a varied accompanying program, including a unique guided tour exhibition with the curator Juraj Blašek – a leading designer, teacher and vice-rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. On Friday, October 18 at 5:00 p.m., he will personally guide you through the exhibition and explain the stories and connections of the exhibited works. Come and enjoy this exceptional event - admission is free!
