We invite you to the opening of the exhibition of paintings by the artist Erik Šoška, which will take place in our small gallery Three Walls 🥂😊

Erik Šoška's painting focuses primarily on the theme of traditional folklore, which he combines with modern expressions of painting such as street art/ more precisely stencil art. In this way, it contrasts both planes, but without any disturbing impression.
The images of this style stand out above all for their dynamism, expression and strong stylization of shapes.
Street art is, in its essence, a means of communication on the street - this is where he points out , that it can also have a didactic value of expression (bringing the topic of folklore closer to the public)
The technique of stencil art consists in dividing the image into layers, where each color tone has its own shape. These are subsequently carved by hand in the form of templates and applied to the canvas with the help of sprays, where they create a specific shape/portrait.
The final painting is thus made up of several templates (6-7 layers).
