Vernisáž výstavy: Ové pictures / Vlnenie

The wave exhibition presents an extensive and visual suggestive collection of works of the author's pair of Pictures - Veronika Obertová and Michaela Čopíková. This artistic couple has long been on the borders of illustration, animation, object art and author's narrative. In their work, there is a strong visual manuscript with subtle personal stories that have the ability to reach a wide audience through a layered, symbolic language. Visitors will see dioram from previous exhibitions such as Storification, and the stone flows, including new circular diorams that move this for the already characteristic medium to the next stage of development. The exhibition will include drawings, sketches and notes bringing an intimate view of the inner world of the authors, along with graphics and prins, of which there are only the last specimens in the authors' archive. At the same time, the exhibition reflects significant thematic circuits, which are repeatedly returned in the creation of Pictures: female experience, motherhood, dreams, vulnerability, humor, frustration, desire, but also pleasure, routine, ambition or loss. The authors create a visual space where personal with collective and serious topics are lightened by gentle irony. The motif of dynamics between two elements appears in drawings and dioram concepts: tensions between hope and fear, noise and quiet, game and boredom, sole and resignation. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in interactive installations, draw, complement symbolism, leave a message or simply enter the space where they can be part of the creative process. It is not only an exhibition of works of art, but also an invitation to the world where the image becomes a story, an emotion of creative material and every visitor or visitor to a potential co -creator. - 04.10.2025.
