VERNISÁŽ VÝSTAVY PŘÍBĚH VILY WITTAL

The exhibition The Story of Villa Wittal opens the gates of a unique Brno villa, whose history is linked to the fate of its inhabitants and changes in the 20th century. In the authentic environment of the Functionalist House, designed by architect Heinrich Blum for the Johann Wittal family, visitors will see the life of the Wittal business family, know the fate of their family business and dramatic events associated with the Second World War, and ultimately the post -war period. Through personal testimonies, the exhibition maps not only the architectural and social importance of the villa, but also its gradual transformation - from the family mansion to the Gestapo, for the post -war use of the building by political representatives to its upcoming role of comments and education.
