About event
Exhibition Romipen etc. It presents the latest works by the artist Maxim Muchow (*1984, Rakovník), in which he reflects his relationship to Roma culture and its transformations in the contemporary world. Historical references with current social themes intertwine in his work. His work is characterized by the use of acrylic markers, sprays and collage techniques that allow him to lay and combine various visual elements.
It captures various positions of Muchow's work - it is a significant part of the Solita project Romipen, in which she cooperates with Roma singer Veronika Kačo (*1990). Her singing deepens the viewer's artistic experience and brings a new, lively dimension to Muchow's paintings. Romipen in their concept represents contemporary Roma identity as a living and changing phenomenon, celebrates the originality of Roma culture and shows how it is reflected in the contemporary art world. Exhibitions.
