About event
In the foyer of the Viola theater we present an exhibition under the curatorial baton of the Kunsthistoričky project; Adély Šatalíková and Klára Heřmánková.
The exhibition of Lenka Husáriková's works in the foyer of the Viola Theater under the title Composition of reality brings an exceptional view of the connection of historical elements of non-European cultures with modern painterly abstraction. The main sources of inspiration for the author are two traditional Asian forms - Japanese origami and Chinese tangram. These geometric jigsaw puzzles became the tools of folk art and became the inspiration for the artistic transformation that accompanies her entire work.
Although she herself has never been to Asia, where these motifs are typical, she can easily and gracefully combine them with the picturesque Czech landscape from which he comes and in which he lives. Meadows, forests, fields and her beloved Krkonoše mountains are thus visible in the exhibition Composition of reality.
The exhibition Composition of reality is not only an opportunity for the viewer to look into the world of geometric abstraction inspired by old traditions, but also a testimony of Lenka's personal artistic journey Husáríková, which constantly develops and exceeds the boundaries of traditional painting. However clear, fairy-tale, playful and even childish the form may seem, it hides and composes something more - reality.
Come to the opening to start the exhibition with us. There will be a glass of quality wine as a welcome drink, we can talk about art and sit in the backyard between the Academy and Kodle. We will immerse ourselves in the paintings of Lenka Husáríková and together with her we will piece together our reality... Already on Friday 1 November at 18.00. We look forward to seeing you!
The exhibition is for sale, works will be available for purchase after 1 November via our website www.kunsthistoricky.eu
