The opening of the exhibition of the Slovak photographer Dorota Holubová entitled Slovak Drag Queen and no other will take place on November 6 at 18:00 at the French Institute in Bratislava.
Visitors can look forward to a personal meeting with the artist and a special performance.
Dorota Holubová is a recognized Slovak photographer, specializing in portraits. and documentary photography. In his committed work, he has long been devoted to the topics of social equality, human rights and freedom of expression.
The series Slovak Drag Queen and no other presents members of the Slovak drag community - not only on stage, but also in their personal, everyday lives. Dorota Holubová's authentic and courageous photographs reveal drag as a deep expression of identity, creativity and the struggle for acceptance.
