with photographs by Karolina Bąk and collages by Agnieszka Karaś, around the anthology "Lepiej. Opowieści emigrantek - Better. Stories of Migrants" by the "Wonderful Women's Club" Migrants”. The exhibition consists of two parts: photographs and collages.
The Club of Wonderful Women is a group of Polish women who live in Berlin and work in the Herstory context. The result of this work is a bilingual short story collection that was published by KLAK in May 2025. Agnieszka Karaś has created analogue collages for each of the seven authors' texts, which are an integral part of "Better. Stories of Migrants". The collages relate directly to the texts.
Is it difficult for a woman to call herself a writer? And what does this word mean – what form, what attitude, what circumstances characterize it? Karolina Bąk, who realized a portrait shoot for the Club of Wonderful Women in collaboration with Agnieszka Ogrodniczak (MUA) and Aneta Jenis Dolega (executive producer), has created photographs that express the uniqueness of the moment, the character and dynamism of each author, as well as that special “something” with which Berlin seduces come.

“Nothing about us without us” – this feminist credo is no longer just a form of protest or a manifesto, but an expression of the feeling that we have freedom of speech. As it turns out, this not only proves to be culturally and politically effective, but often also therapeutically effective. It makes us feel visible, audible and valued.
