About event
We invite you to the presentation of the project Eva Čarnokok: Artistic work of Veronika Bažaliková and its importance for independent culture in the east of Slovakia.
We will combine the presentation with the screening of the film documentary Veronika Bažaliková: Helena Bažaliková nominated by the village of Nižný Hrušov into the competition “Grandma of Vranov district” - film documentary about Mom Veronika, 2021 (15 minutes). Creation of prematurely deceased visual artist Mgr. Art. Veronika Bažaliková and evaluating the importance of her artistic work for the formation of independent culture in the east of Slovakia. Our initiative was to document and examine its work, which has not been mapped by anyone due to unexpected death. We mapped her unknown and unpublished works with an effort to preserve the creative legacy of Veronica for future generations. We would like to thank everyone who helps to keep and make our dear girlfriend Veronika.
