About event
Versus: Blu & Exile - December 13th and 14th - Porto and Lisbon - Love (the) Omnious World (EU) Tour.
Below the heavens everything changed in 2007.
In 2007, “Below the Heavens” changed everything. Put it how you want to.
The story goes that it was Aloe Blacc, who was responsible for starting the connection that gave rise to one of the most unique duos in American West Coast Rap: Blu & Exile.
(Thank you Aloe.)
“Blu & Exile have fingers in so many pies, it's a full-time job keeping up.” This is reality.
Both have very significant discographies both in terms of quality and quantity. Dozens of albums and many other collaborations with the cream of his counterparts. Aloe Blacc, Evidence, ALC, Miguel, Prodigy, MF DOOM, Anderson .Paak, Madlib, etc.
Credits in the production of artists such as Mobb Deep, Big Sean, Jurassic 5, Flying Lotus or Snoop and Wiz Khalifa, are letters of recommendation that are impossible to ignore. There is sleeve cloth in an unusual size. Between the two, they certainly have more published work than some publishers. No Cap!
As a duo, there are four albums and two EPs that contributed immensely to the affirmation of a sound that is currently intrinsic to L.A. in the same way that G Funk is. If you know, you know.
Love (the) Ominous World has just been released this week, and it is on its prime that we will finally witness the debut in Portugal of one of the most relevant duos in Rap what is being done nowadays.
The cherry on top? Fashawn.
The Californian rapper who has been linked to Blu & Exile since the beginning, will also be present in Portugal, as a special guest of the duo, on both dates.
Those who know them already know. For those who don't know them yet, we can assure you that you are: So(ul) Amazing.
Tickets can be purchased via linktr.ee/versuspt.
