About event
Versus: EARTHGANG (Dreamville) in Lisbon - B.Leza, January 25th - European Fantasy Tour.
It is not a European Fantasy. Nowadays, Lisbon is a Dreamville.
Olu and WowGr8 are EARTHGANG, a duo native to Atlanta who needs no introduction.
The story begins in 2010 with the EP “The Better Party” and That's when the countless comparisons with various elements of Dungeon Family began.
Greater praise could not be given, especially when Georgia's legitimacy justifies it. It's a fact that we can hear a bit of Outkast or Goodie Mob in their sound and that can only be good.
After a few singles and two mixtapes, EARTHGANG releases “Shallow Graves For Toys” in 2014 , the first chapter of their discography, as far as LPs are concerned.
By 2019, they had released three more albums on Spillage Village Records. The last one, “Royalty”, lived up to its name and placed them in the sphere of royalty, of North American Rap. We logically talk about J. Cole and Dreamville.
The addition of Cole's label definitely opens the doors to a new universe, which catapults them into the elite of their genre.
Opening Act from the “4 Your Eyez Only World Tour”, presence at COLORS Studio, collaborations with Ari Lennox, J. Cole, Future, Pharrell Williams or CeeLo Green are some of the details, which mark a story where JID, 6LACK, Mereba or Benji are also main characters, since day one.
Their latest studio album is “GHETTO GODS”, but recently they also presented us (along with Snakehips) with the EP “SNAKEGANG Vol. 1”.
In short, Olu aka Johnny Venus and WowGr8 aka Doctur Dot, are ATL’s finest on steroids. Authentic, insurgent and unusual.
January 25th marks the debut of EARTHGANG in Portugal. Dream and Fantasy at the same time.
Tickets are divided into three distinct sales phases. Each phase has a limited number of tickets available and can now be purchased at versus.seetickets.com, Fnac, Worten and El Corte Inglés.
First come, first served.
