1ST DAY-LISBOA/MANCHESTER/GLASGOW. At 04:20, check-in at Humberto Delgado International Airport. At 07:20, departure on a TAP flight to Manchester. At 10:10, arrival, disembarkation and continuation of the journey to Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland and an important economic and cultural center in the United Kingdom. Free lunch en route. Arriving in Glasgow. Dinner and overnight at The Address Hotel 4* or similar;
2ND DAY-GLASGOW/STIRLING. Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit with a local guide through the historic center of the city, which stands out for its cultural and architectural richness evident in the arts, museums and historic buildings, full of Victorian and neoclassical facades and a mixture of industrial and modern style features. Along the exclusively pedestrianized streets, we will find several artists dressed up playing and singing traditional songs. Highlights include St. George's Square, Glasgow Cathedral, Tolbooth Steeple Tower and McLennan Arch. Lunch. Departure towards Stirling, medieval city that was the scene of the well-known Battle of Stirling Bridge during the Scottish wars for independence. Departure towards the Highlands region of Scotland, known for the harmony between its lush landscapes and crystal-clear lakes. Pass by Fort Augustus and the shores of Loch Ness, home to what is believed to be the best-known monster in the Scottish lochs. Lunch along the way. In the afternoon, visit a typically Scottish distillery. Here we will have the perfect introduction to the distillation process of pure Scottish malt and we will learn about the production methods with whiskey tasting. Continue to Inverness, capital of the Highlands and an important center for traditional Scottish music. Panoramic tour where we highlight places such as Marischal College (City Hall building), St. Nicholas Church, His Majesty's Theatre, Union Street and the statue of William Wallace, a former noble knight and one of the symbols of the Revolutionary War in Scotland .
