Christmas service with Eucharist
Words: Daniel Pastirčák
Artistic meditation - Jozef Kurinec
When a woman gives birth, she is depressed because her hour has come. However, as soon as she gives birth to a child, she no longer remembers the anxiety, because of the joy that a new person has come into the world. You too have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice and no one will take your joy away from you.
Gospel according to John
Let's not forget that the experience of Christ - true God and true man - is the goal of the Christian life. J. Y. Leloup wrote: It is not reserved only for Christ. St. Paul says that "Christ is the elder brother of many." After all, we tend to leave him alone, although with him and in him we are called to enter the path of unmixed union with God, who dwells in us and who creates everything.
J. Y. Leloup
Only he who can see strength in helplessness, Written by Paul Tilich: whole in a fragment, victory in humiliation, glory in suffering, holiness in accusation, life in death, only he can say, looking at the Child and the Crucified: My eyes have seen your salvation!
