About event
Municipal Council of Košice-Staré Mesto invites all lovers of the marketplace on Dominikánské náměstí to the Christmas markets called "Christmas on the square", which will start with the Old Town slaughterhouse on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11 a.m. and they will last until December 23, 2024.
You can come and see master chefs in the process of meat processing, preparation of traditional butcher's specialties, sausages, liver, crackers, cabbage with meat. Of course, the slaughterhouse will also include a tasting of all the goodies.
Christmas markets will be held every day, in addition to the regular market stalls, there will also be stalls with Christmas goodies, mulled wine, punch, mead and a cultural program in the early evening from 7 p.m. on the stage.

14.12. KINO fairy tale Bob and Bobek (completely new Czech
animated film, created from the original tales Bob and

For parents with children, we offer the opportunity to entertain their children in the creative workshops at DKC Veritas right on Dominikánský náměstí, where lecturers from the Old Town Museum Vojtech Löffler will entertain them by making Christmas decorations and drawing, working with clay so that parents can enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas markets, punch or mulled wine and concerts. >

Every day at the Christmas markets, great music performed by a DJ,
tastings of port wine, Christmas, Oriental and
Italian specialties, coffee and other surprises.
The markets will also include the Old Town Antique Exchange, so that everyone can find their cup of coffee at the market.
We believe that you will all have a good time at Dominikánský náměstí as in the kind of Christmas living room that we will create together.
We thank the Košice self-governing region, partners, DKC Veritas, Soroptimist Club Košice and the local
favorite brick-and-mortar businesses for their help, for deciding to help us organize the markets to make them as beautiful as possible.
