About event
We at the institutions located in Rómer's house are already looking forward to the approaching Christmas. 💫 From December 12 to 15, we invite you to enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere at Rómer's house with us. There will be interesting workshops and discussions for young and old, as well as cabbage rolls, wafers and mulled wine. 🎄. >10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. – Christmas workshop for children from elementary school // vault room and Rómer's room
7:00 p.m. - Múdromer - general quiz // cafe
To participate, registration is required by filling out a short form: https://forms.gle/pBFKyR1qKL6SqkAWA
Maximum the number of players in the team is 4. The entrance fee is €15 per team. The quiz is in the Slovak language.
In the morning hours, creative workshops will take place in the premises of Rómer's house with primary school pupils, led by members of the Pensioners' Union. 🪡✂️
In the evening, we invite you to the second Múdromer: measuring wisdom in Rómer's house! 💡 You can look forward to a fun and educational quiz about literature, movies, music, politics and this time about Christmas at home and around the world. Refreshments will be prepared during the evening: pickled ermine, puff pastry, mushroom pâté @drz_huby and a quiz specialty - langouses from Langoš!
Refreshments (mulled wine, punch, goodies) await you in the yard throughout the day. 🍷

In the morning hours, creative workshops will take place in the premises of Rómer's house with elementary school students - the workshops will be led by members of the Pensioners' Union and lecturer Simona Bohunská. 🪡✂️
In the afternoon, exclusive guided tours of the cellars of Rómer's house and Mirbach's palace await us - don't forget to register in advance. 🍾
The cycle of lectures on garden art, which was prepared by the National Trust in the Rómer house during the year, will end with a lecture by Tamara Reháčková dedicated to the specifics of Japanese gardens. 🌿
At the end, we will bring to life a fresh new release from the BRAK publishing house - Jana Cviková will guide us through an interview between Jana Beňová and Jana Juráňová. 📖

Saturday we will start with BR(e)AKfast with Michal Hvorecký, who will present the book Comrade dissident about philosopher and writer Milan Šimeček, who is one of the most prominent Czech-Slovak figures of the 20th century. His captivating life and original work presented by Matúš Vizár, Adrián Hnát and Michal Hvorecký has been published in comic form now - at a time when the government is again trying to "restore order". Treat yourself to a break on Saturday morning and come get acquainted not only with the book , but also by its authors. guide - don't forget to register in advance. 🍾
We will be preparing traditional Christmas wafers throughout the afternoon. 🍲

On Sunday, we will start with a Christmas workshop, where, in addition to creating Christmas angels, we will learn mindfulness relaxation techniques with the lecturers Mirka and Sveťa. 😇
In the afternoon, a theater about a Christmas reindeer awaits you. 🦌
And we will end the pre-Christmas atmosphere with a demonstration of young Slovak art with the musician daniel b and the author of the book Substitute Daughter, Soňa Otajovičová. Hosted by Rudi Rus. 📖
