About event
Peter Lipa, the unmistakable voice of Slovak jazz, will perform live with the piano accompaniment of his son Peter.
An evening full of stylistic diversity, improvisation and authentic musical energy awaits you. Peter Lipa is not only a singer and composer, but also a long-time organizer of the Bratislava Jazz Days, who can draw the audience into the music from the very first notes.
Lipa draws on blues, soul and mainstream jazz, but his work also includes elements of funk, rock and pop. A unique vocal style, a sense of improvisation and a natural contact with the audience make each of his concerts an exceptional experience.
He is called the "father of Slovak jazz".
Come and enjoy a Christmas concert full of music, humor and a family atmosphere with a Slovak jazz legend.
