About event
The Christmas Little Market in the New Synagogue is back again - this year we will experience it on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The popular community event will bring a lot of beautiful gifts from local artists and craftsmen, but also a space for meetings, conversations and pleasant moments with family and friends.
Musical program
DJ Dumo plays from the morning, in the afternoon the jazz-classical atmosphere will be provided by former conservators, now university students Klára Vitteková (vocals), Matej Minik (piano) and Radovan Vittek (drums).
At 19:00 the Prague trio Nina Rosa, founded by Slovak singer and violinist Nina Marinová, will perform in the cafe. The band is one of the most prominent Czech-Slovak trio of recent years - already in 2017 it received a nomination for Discovery of the Year in Rádiohlava. Their debut album Discover was recognized as the Album of the Year and the Best Acoustic Band in the prestigious Czech Tais Awards 2021.
Program for children from the Morgonrock Theater
At 11:00, Peter Gärtner will play Vtedy pod Šlosbergom – a modern puppet theater based on the most famous old legends and rumors from Prešpor.
Children's corner with creative workshops
This year we bet on magnetic and creative building blocks and together with Dodoou.sk we are preparing an interesting program for children. From 14:00 to 17:00, an animator will take care of them, who will involve them in joint creation.
Accompanying program
We have been promised participation by the artist and teacher Zoltán Agócs, with whom you will be able to have your own portrait made in the relaxation area.
Food
He will take care of your taste buds NhàBè Bistro from Martin, which will bring its delicious specialties.
We look forward to seeing you and another pre-Christmas day full of creativity, aromas and a good atmosphere.
******
Entrance fees for visitors are paid on the spot.
With €3 you will support not only local creation, but also the operation of the New Synagogue and thus contribute to its preservation and development.
