About event
🟡 As part of the accompanying program to the Vietnam near and far exhibition at the Náprstek Museum, we are screening the Vietnamese film Chyba (Lầm lại), which was made three years before the Đổi Mới economic reforms.
📽️ The film tells the story of a budding visual artist, Hùng, who gradually becomes a dealer in antiques and a painter of erotic paintings. His wife Loan would like to study literature at university, but for now she has to take care of their young child at home. Loan forms an "alliance" with her neighbor, who takes care of her child and also tries to help her get out of her marriage. In Vietnamese with Czech subtitles.
🎙️The curator Klára Trsková will take care of the introduction. The screening is followed by a debate with guests Nguyễn Phương Hà and Martin Cipriani from RMIT University Vietnam and the Vietnamese Marta Lopatková from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
